Excellent Shopping and Sightseeing
Located just two miles from downtown Tarpon Springs, where Greek legend and folklore still endure, is the ever popular sponge docks. Boats set out daily for deep-sea fishing and sightseeing. Downtown and along the sponge docks, shoppers will find many charming stores which reflect the Mediterranean heritage of the area.
Tarpon Springs' main street district was chosen to be included on the National Register of Historic Places. The downtown area is a center for antiques and collectibles with more than a dozen shops and galleries.
