Q.  Will the floor support my waterbed?
A.  Yes. Your home is constructed with a 2"x8" floor joist and is able to support a modern waterbed. However additional piers may be required.
Q.  Can I paint my siding?
A.  Generally, vinyl siding cannot be painted because the paint will not bond to the vinyl surface.
Q.  Can I paint my walls?
A.  Yes and No. Vinyl covered walls cannot be painted, but painted and textured walls can be repainted.
Q.  Can I paint my ceiling?
A.  Yes, but you should consult a professional. You cannot use a brush or roller to effectively paint your ceiling.
Q.  Does pressure washing hurt my siding?
A.  Not if the job is done by a professional who uses the proper cleaners.
Q.  How far apart are my roof rafters?
A.  Rafters are installed 24" on center (Zone II) or 16" on center (Zone III).
Q.  Can I wash my drapes?
A.  No. They must be dry cleaned.
Q.  Can I put ceramic/quarry floor tile in my kitchen?
A.  Yes, but make sure your contractor uses an underlayment and adds additional piers and blocking.
Q.  Can I order parts or options for my home?
A.  Yes, call the parts department for up-to-date pricing. If you would like to have non-warranty work performed, talk to your director of customer service. When their schedule allows, they will perform service for hire.
Q.  Will my dinette chairs damage my vinyl floor?
A.  Your floor vinyl is "loose laid", this is the recommended application by the vinyl manufacturer. Dinette chairs with roller wheels and chairs without padding on the base of the legs can cause damage. We recommend that you put pad protectors on the legs of all furniture that rest on your floor vinyl.
